Cancellation

You may cancel your order prior to us shipping the order to you and a refund will be applied to your original method of payment. In instances where a cancellation request is received after your order has already been shipped, the shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

Returns for a refund or exchange

Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, you will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.                                                     

You will be responsible for the shipping costs for returning your product in instances where you would like a refund or to exchange the product for another product.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Product with obvious signs of use
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Standard Warranty Returns Policy

Our products are covered by a 6 month standard warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects which excludes general wear and tear, physical damage or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Following the manufacturer's assessment and at their discretion, the returned products may be:

> Repaired, where a repair is possible, or a replacement (dependent on stock availability) or a refund will be issued.

Should you have a defective product where the manufacturer's standard warranty period of 6 months has expired, we can arrange with the manufacturer to quote to repair the defective product. A quotation will be generated for your approval or rejection. Please note that you will responsible for the shipping costs for the defective product which is out of warranty.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds:
If you have not received your refund timeously, first check your bank account or contact your bank for confirmation. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Refunds do not apply to sale items.

Shipping costs for damaged/defective products

Home Centric SA (Pty) Ltd will cover the cost of shipping in the following instances, subject to the following terms and conditions as set out below:

The shipping costs for products that have been damaged whilst in transit with our courier service. We must be notified as soon as reasonably possible (within 48 hours upon receiving delivery) in respect of these damages, please be sure to include as much information as possible, including supporting images that will assist us with the above.

The shipping costs for products with a manufacturing defect (excludes physical damage, general wear and tear or missing parts for reasons not due to our error) and within the prescribed warranty period of 6 months from date of purchase (warranty validity will be determined prior to us logging a collection from you).

Shipping costs for products to be returned/exchanged

Confirmation of the return shipping costs will be communicated to you prior to us logging the return from you.

If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund or if the product is exchanged, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the original purchase price paid and any difference would have to be paid before the exchanged product is shipped to you.

Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
